 Jackson Valley Irrigation District (JVID) was established in 1968 to meet the water needs of agriculture in the District. A dam was constructed on Jackson Creek to produce Lake Amador.Lake Amador contains 22,500 acre feet at capacity to supply  water to its customers.  JVID is currently engineering a potable water system, which, when completed, will supply the district customers.

JVID Board Meetings

JVID holds Board of directors meetings on the second Weds of the month at 6:00pm and are held in the District office.  All interested parties are welcome to attend.  An agenda is emailed to customers a week before the meeting.
